The history of Israel doesn’t go back a few thousands of years, but ten thousand years! Jericho is the oldest city in the world! Ten thousand years ago there was this city already, while the rest of the world was uncovered by civilization!
The influence of Israel on the Middle East and the world can’t be denied, because that’s a fact. And not only Israeli history is long and rich, but so are the cultures residing in Israel. It’s not one culture, but a mixture of many cultures, all existing together, with deep roots originating hundreds, even thousands of years ago.
In order to have a vague idea what Israel and it’s complex past really is, you could get books and read them. You might even talk to some people, but the best way is getting a focused introduction and that’s the reason why there are three tours designed with that in mind.
